DBC FALL BUCKET BLITZ: Thank you to those who helped pack and deliver buckets. We’ve delivered a total of 80 buckets. You can come by the church during business hours and pick up buckets to deliver.

Coat Drive: If you are looking to donate new or lightly used winter coats, mittens, & gloves for our friends in upstate Vermont. Sunday, October 3 is the deadline. While (larger) adult sizes are preferred, whatever you have to donate (including kid’s sizes), they will gladly accept. Don’t forget… The Coat drive ends on Sunday, October 3.

DBC Kids: This Sunday at 9:30 a.m. kids can be a part of the new large group, while parents connect with others in a connect group or worship service! There will be singing, games, snacks, and Bible story time. Please be sure to come through the children’s area and check your child in first. We will take your child from the large group directly to their small group. This month we continue to learn about initiative and God’s character with our memory verse of “Work at everything you do with all your heart. Work as if you were working for the Lord.” Colossians 3:23.

Volunteers are still needed for the 9:30 a.m. hour, this is on a rotating schedule. We are also in need of a greeter to help check kids in at the 9:30 a.m. hour. Please email amcginnis@dublinbaptist.com.

Kids in 3rd-6th grade make sure you are signed up for Junior Jam! This is a high-energy event that has music, games, hands-on-activities, and Bible study time. It is on Saturday, October 9th at Cedarville University. Cost is $25 per child or $30 if you would like a t-shirt. We will mee at the church at 8:00 a.m. and return around 5:30 p.m. Deadline is September 27th. Preschool: Week 4 in the Preschool Wing has our little ones learning that God is with us so we can be strong. We will hear about the strong actions of a queen named Esther. She risked her life to gain an audience with the king and plead for the lives of her people. Strength is something we can live out when we know that God is always with us.

DBC Students: There is no student group this Sunday night the 26th. Come over to the sanctuary at 6 PM for the church vote on Keegan! Student Bible study classes are in rooms 204-206 to led by Emily Miller, Tom Henderson, and Brandon Miller. All 7th Graders are invited to join Student Worship every Sunday Night at 6:00 PM as we enjoy some games and recreation, eat together, then engage in Worship and large group Bible Study.

Operation Christmas Child: Operation Christmas Child is coming! Please begin bringing in items for shoe boxes this Sunday, September 26th. These can be Wow items like matchbox cars, jump ropes, tennis balls, or hygiene and school supplies. There will be bins to collect the items. We will have a packing party on Sunday, November 7th to fill our goal of 500 shoe boxes. We will also have shoe boxes for individuals to pick up beginning October 24th.

DBC Women: Ladies, it’s time to reconnect with each other through our Coffee Connections! Coming Saturday, October 23rd we will have our first Coffee Connection in the fellowship hall from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Please bring a brunch type dish to share and a friend. Coffee, tea, and juices will be provided. We will have a chance to connect with each other, while also helping prepare boxes and supplies for Operation Christmas Child! Come experience fun and fellowship, while serving!

Mission Trip to Vermont: Adults and students 13 & up (who come with a parent) it’s not too late to join the Vermont Mission Trip Team. The dates are October 8-16, 2021. We will be serving hot lunches to hundreds in the community, doing a variety of light work/cleaning projects, and outreaches to the community.
