Dublin Baptist is a gospel-centered church that is passionate about the "Great Commission." Matthew 28:19a says, "Therefore go and make disciples of every nation baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost..." to do this we must be intentional about equipping our church to share the "Good News" authentically and with clarity. GROW (Go Reach Our World) is one such way that we are able to reach-out and share the love of Christ. there are also outreach training events that meet regularly to equip attendees with the most current and relevant evangelism techniques. In addition, Dublin Baptist offers several outreach activities. We take part in the "Bill Glass Prison Ministry," as well as having servant-evangelism projects, community outreach events and periodic church-wide evangelism emphases.
The words of Christ in Acts 1:8b, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." are the central focus of the Dublin Baptist Missions Ministry. To accomplish this call, Dublin Baptist sets out to engage in a 3-part mission strategy, that we call "being on-mission." The first step is to PRAY! While every person may not be able to go on a mission trip, we can all pray for missions and our missionaries. Prayer is the catalyst that moves the hand of God. Second, we can GIVE! When you give to Dublin Baptist, 23% of your gift goes to several SBC mission entities (International missions, North American missions, Ohio missions and Metro-Columbus missions). In addition, we support more than 20 mission alliances regularly and sponsor various short-term mission trips throughout the year. The last step is GO! We believe that every person, who is physically able, should consider attending a mission trip or be involved in a mission venture. To learn more about these opportunities, please email Pastor Paul Pyle.
