Women's Ministry Overview
"...A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised"- Proverbs 31:30.
Goal: to Become Godly Women.
Purpose: to love with God's love and develop strong ministries that will: reach lost women; teach, care for, and minister to the needs of all women; to love and support one another building strong relationships; keeping all we do Christ-centered.
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
Bible Study/Discipleship: two semesters of Bible studies are offered each year- October to December and February to May. Studies at the church are held on Tuesday mornings, with childcare for preschoolers. Other studies are homebased. Topics are announced several weeks in advance and usually include at least one Precept Ministries course and one or more studies by Beth Moore.
FELLOWSHIP
Fellowship activities include "Lady's Night Out" each winter and the Ladies' Brunch each spring. A retreat is also held each fall.
MENTORING
This ministry is offered to those ladies who would like to be mentored to or to mentor another woman. The Mentoring Progarm is offered several times during the year to all women.
SPECIAL CONFERENCES
The Women's Ministry organizes group outings to conferences such as Women of Faith and Beth Moore's Living Proof. These are great times of building friendships as well as receiving encouragement by hearing outstanding Christian women speak in person.
SERVICE
Moms In Touch
