Dublin Baptist Men
Organized for men of all ages to involve them in evangelism, ministry, discipleship, and mission learning experiences, support, and fellowship.
PURPOSE- More men more like Christ.
MISSION- We are men seeking to glorify God by teaming up with other men in acts of service to others.
OBJECTIVES:
- Reach out to the unsaved, unchurched - Mark 16:15
- Move men through discipleship - II Timothy 2:2
- Develop leadership (disciple-makers) in the home, church, workplace - Matthew 28:19 - 20
- Get involved in ministries - Romans 12:4 - 8

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
Small Groups- our ongoing discipleship programs focus on the objective of learning how to live a more Christ-centered life with encouragement from fellow brothers. We deal with issues of personal spiritual growth, prayer, Bible study, evangelism and accountability. We also encourage and equip one another in our roles as husbands, fathers and businessmen. There are two separate main groups: Operation Timothy and Top Gun (divided into Top Gun I and II). In our Pastor's Small Group Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m., a group of men meet to study God's word, led by Pastor Gabbard. The men take turns bringing a light breakfast each week. This is a GREAT way to start your Wednesday morning, not to mention a great mid-week spiritual pick-me-up. We meet in the Fellowship Hall.
MONTHLY ACTIVITIES
Fellowship Breakfast- the second Saturday of every month (except June, July and August), DBC men and guests gather in the Fellowship Hall at 8:15 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship. We also have a guest speaker during this time. Please check the Men's Ministry table located at the church's North entrance Welcome Center for a list of the upcoming speakers. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and get to know other men here at DBC in an informal setting. Please join us!
SPECIAL EVENTS
Men's Retreat- this is an annual event that is usually held Friday night and Saturday in late winter or spring. The weekend includes guest speakers, small group discussions, Bible study, singing, and fellowship.

Men's Monthly Newsletter
This newsletter is emailed each and every month to all the men in the congregation who are members. The newsletter is also available at the Men's Ministry table. The purpose of newsletter is to keep them up-to-date with what is going on in the men's ministry. It is informative, with articles and commentary, stories from books, or world news.
