Two of our ESL classes and teachers at our recent "Buckeye Tailgate Party"

[Japanese Translation]               [Korean Translation]

We have taught ESL classes at Dublin Baptist Church for over 15 years.  Our classes are taught by volunteers who want to share God's love with all people.  Our teachers are not paid to teach.  We use the Bible in our classes.

We have 4 levels of classes from beginning to advanced.  We interview our students to determine what level class is best.

Our classes are conversational English.  All our students must have some English experience and be ready to practice speaking.

Open registration is the first Wednesday in September.  We interview potential students through January.  We usually have waiting lists for our classes.

Each month we have a party after class.  We want our students to meet new friends and learn about American customs and holidays.  We have an OSU tailgate party, Christmas and Easter potlucks, valentine party, board game party, and picnic games party.

Most classes schedule field trips to places like: the library, the grocery store, a restaurant, old Dublin, the teacher's home, or hiking trips.

In the past, we have had special speakers to teach driving safety, to teach the history of Dublin, to answer questions about ESL in the Dublin City Schools and to teach a monthly Japanese Bible study.

We think learning English should be FUN!
