Darrel Gabbard, Pastor   Email Darrel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Darrel has had additional training as a Certified Evangelism Explosion teacher/trainer and Certified Masterlife Discipleship Group Leader. Darrel has held various positions in denominational service such as: President and member of the Executive Board of the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, Trustee of Golden Gate Theological Seminary, and a member of various committees of the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio. Darrel has held pastorate positions since 1968, and has been pastor at Dublin Baptist Church since 1989. Darrel is married to his wife, Brenda, and has three grown children, Chris, Kim and Kevin (deceased).

Dr. Randall K. Wood, Associate Pastor   Email Randall serves as Associate Pastor, Minister of Education and Outreach. Randall joined the staff of Dublin Baptist Church in 1995, having been a member since 1988 while an Associate Professor in Agricultural Engineering at the Ohio State University. The Lord called Randall into the ministry as a result of his service as a member of Dublin Baptist Church in various church ministries. Randall has completed over 29 hours of work towards his Masters of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Randall is married to Felicia and they have three sons, Isaac, Adam, and Caleb.

J.W. Mason, Minister of Music and Worship   Email J. W. received a Master of Music degree in conducting and a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice and Music Education from the prestigious College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. He is currently working on his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the conservatory. Prior to joining the staff of Dublin Baptist Church in 1990, he served as Music Minister at two other Baptist churches. His professional career has afforded him many honors and opportunities to share his musical ministry in all genres of music including: opera, musical theater, choral, ballet, gospel and studio recording work. J.W. has been soloist and conductor in performances across the United States, Europe, the former Yugoslavia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Israel, and recently was involved with a project that allowed him to sing and conduct at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Kirk A. Jones, Minister to Students   Email Kirk joined the staff at Dublin Baptist Church in 2000. He has been involved in youth ministry for over 15 years. He has served as a volunteer leader at churches in Missouri, Wisconsin and California and as a team leader and committee member with YoungLife of Central Ohio. He has his bachelor of Arts Degree from William Jewell Baptist College, an Associates in Applied Science degree from St. Louis Community College and is currently taking classes through the Trinity Evangelical Seminary. He has participated in The Purpose Driven Youth Ministry Seminars and been involved with programs and as a speaker for numerous camps and retreats. Before coming to Dublin Baptist, Kirk worked in sales and advertising. He and his wife Charlotte were married here at DBC in 1998 and have two daughters Aubrey and Jordan.

Rick Salas, Minister to Children   Email Rick joined the staff of Dublin Baptist Church in 2004. He has received his Bachelor of Science degree in Church/School Administration from Ohio Bible College. He has completed post-graduate studies from Providence Theological Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba. Rick has been involved in the area of church education and administration for many years and has been in the associate pastorate full-time for a number of years. Rick's heart is to show children and their parents that they matter to God. His desire is for children to learn who God is, and how they can have a relationship with Him. Rick and his wife, Marcie, have three children--Debbie, Maria and Danny.

Michael Wise, Minister of Business Administration   Email Mike joined the staff in 2000. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University, a Master of Divinity degree from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, and is a summa cum laude graduate of Ohio University. Mike is a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and is a member of the Institute for Supply Management and the National Association of Church Business Administration. He has an extensive background in management, finance, and operations, primarily as an executive with Banc One Corporation. Mike and his wife Velda reside in the Sunbury area and have one grown son, Grant.

Masashi Sugita, Japanese Chapel Pastor   Email Masashi came to Columbus in 1987 to begin a ministry for Japanese people in our area. Since then, his work has spread to other cities in Ohio as well as Kentucky and Michigan. He currently serves at seven regularly scheduled meetings of Japanese Christians throughout the region. His passion for God's ministry has also taken him overseas to Haiti and Ukraine beginning in 1992 and 1993, respectively. Through his annual travels to these countries, he actively supports the local believers in their effort to serve their own people. Masashi holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography from Humboldt State University in California. He, his wife Sayuri, and their two daughters, Alisa and Meg, reside in Hilliard.
